SMU has opened doors for partnerships with some of the best schools in North America through which faculty and student exchanges have been made possible. Visiting professors have come to us from top institutions such as MIT, Wharton, HEC Montreal, Purdue, and the University of Chicago.

Formal partnerships have been established with the University of Maryland and with the University of Waterloo.

University of Maryland

University of Maryland and South Mediterranean University Business Schools have partnered together to launch a Master of Science in Business with Information Systems and Technology Track.

University of Waterloo

A memorandum of understanding has been signed with the University of Waterloo for the development of a partnership in the area of computer systems engineering. This is an important step in establishing SMU’s second school: The Mediterranean Institute of Technology (MEDITECH). (ADD LINK TO MEDITECH)

Babson College

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between MSB and Babson College to allow undergraduate students to transfer at the end of their second year to the other school. Babson College was founded in 1919 by financier and entrepreneur Roger W. Babson. It is located in Wellesley, Massachussetts. It is ranked #1 for Entrepreneurship by U.S.News & World Report's 2008 "Best Colleges in America" and a leader in management education and entrepreneurial leadership. Dean Hanno has strong expertise in teaching, research, and outreach in the accounting discipline. He is an award winning teacher who is known for his innovative curriculum as well as his in-depth work on the assessment of student learning. Babson grants BS degrees through its innovative undergraduate program

Alba

Alba was created in 1992 and share the same mission as MSB which is to educate visionary leaders capable o...f anticipating change and be among the first movers in the market. Alba is a private institution offering graduate programs in management. It has been agreed that the two institutions will organize jointly short term executive programs both in the Maghreb countries and in Greece.

University of Massachusetts Amherst

UMass Amherst is located in the scenic Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts, 144 kms (90 miles) from Boston and 281 kms (175 miles) from New York City. It was born in 1863 and experienced rapid growth to become a flagship campus of the state’s five –campus University system. It has 88 bachelor’s degree programs, 73 master’s and 53 doctoral programs in 9 schools and colleges in addition to approximately 215 000 alumni around the world.

Moore School of Business

The Darla Moore School of Business at University of South Carolina (USC) was founded in 1919 and became “a thriving site of academic excellence”. It is best known for its outstanding leadership in international business education and research. It has been ranked number 1 in the undergraduate international business in the survey of ‘America’s Best Colleges’ (US News & World Report). It is also ranked number 1 for best ‘international experience’ among the world’s top 100 business schools.” (Financial Times)
